The Ironfell family is preparing for the grisly inheritance ritual that turns their Victorian estate into a battlefield. Alone amongst his family, Walter Ironfell (17) has no interest in being heir, let alone killing for it, but he doesn't have a choice. Any living Ironfell has a chance at inheriting the family's terrible power, which means everyone is a target—and everyone is a threat.
While the rest of his family is stalking the halls, armed to the teeth, Walter will have to choose: run, hide, or kill.
